My name is Elaine Connell and I was born in Falesworth, which is in north east Manchester.

I’m Craig Fees, it’s the fifth of October 2006, I’m in Hebden Bridge at The Mill Linden Mill Linden Mill, talking to Tony Wright, going to get a sense of who he is and his experience of Hebden Bridge. I guess the easiest thing really is just to literally start at the beginning and make one’s way up to the present; we may not get there – who knows?

Akiko Karoda was born in Osaka, Japan and came to Hebden Bridge in 1990. She is a glass artist and translator. Akiko was interviewed by Tony Wright (4th October 2003)

Andrea Jessen was born in Hamburg, Germany. She came to Hebden Bridge in 1998. She is a translator and special needs classroom assistant.

Jan van de Merwe was born in Delph, Netherlands. He moved to Hebden Bridge in 1997 and runs an antique/retro shop. Jan was interviewed by Tony Wright (22nd October 2003)
