CRAG STORIES - A guided heritage walk around hardcastle Crags starting at the Blue Pig to Gibson Mill and back. Incorporating folklore, industrial history, oral history and natural history. Starting at 11:00 am Saturday, 11 September 2011. All welcome, children over 7 and dogs on a lead.
Well, it’s a beautiful place and I don’t think you can deny it. I‘ve been here a whole load of times, about eight times before that, because I’ve been touring around England and I had a friend here who put us up and so, every time over seven or so years that I came here I just thought it was great, wandering around the river and just seeing the countryside.
Wild Rose Heritage and Arts is a community group which takes it's name from the area in which we are located - the valley ("den") of the wild rose ("Heb") - Hebden Bridge which is in Calderdale, West Yorkshire.
